Elmhurst Artists' Guild Gallery: EAG Fall Members' Show

The Elmhurst Artists' Guild presents their Fall Member show with Featured Artist, Ana Vitek and her series, "The Long Road Home" from October 5-October 31, 2025. The Opening Reception is Friday, October 10th from 7-9 pm.

‘The Long Road Home’ is my ongoing painting series that captures the spirit of the open road, where movement is freedom and miles on the road lead to the promise of new discoveries. Wide open skies filled with dramatic clouds over fields, ribbons of roads, zippy lines move into the distance. There is a certain meditative rhythm of a long road trip, the dance of light, and shadow, the quiet anticipation of what lies perhaps just around the bend. At once nostalgic, and full of hope, the series reflects both my outward journey and love of travel and an inward search for belonging and the deeper meaning of ‘home.’ --Ana Vitek
