McCormick House Tours
Learn more about the unique history and design of Mies van der Rohe’s McCormick House. More information and a schedule of these regularly scheduled house tours can be found in Events.
Learn more or register for our Self-Guided Outdoor Architecture Tour, an audio tour of our surprisingly architecturally rich city—the only with houses by Frank Lloyd Wright and Mies van der Rohe. Free with admission ticket or a $10 suggested donation.
Students, Troops, and Children under 18: $12/child (tour and activity), $8/child (tour only), $6/chaperone. Minimum of 10 children.*
Provide an enriching learning experience with a field trip to EAM. Compelling exhibitions of contemporary art and modern architecture including one of only three Mies van der Rohe’s houses in the United States, access to Wilder Park, and the ability to coordinate with other Elmhurst museums. Furthermore, EAM’s Education Center will customize a tour of the current exhibitions with a corresponding activity to fulfill your troop’s badge requirements.

In response to COVID-19 restrictions, our education team developed virtual tours for children and adults to enjoy. These tours take your group through our current exhibition with optional hands-on activities for school-aged children.
